Nowadays, students are busy. It’s hard enough to come up with content for your writing assignments. Editing is a whole other step you don’t have time for. Luckily, I love words, and I would love to help you with yours.
As a trained freelance proofreader and copy editor, I am fully equipped to tackle any of your academic needs. Here are just a few examples of some of the projects I tackle for high school seniors and college students:
- College essays (persuasive, expository, research, etc.)
- Theses, dissertations, and capstone projects
- Personal Statements
…and so much more!
I offer my services to any student from high school seniors to grad school students in all disciplines. Check out my proofreading and copy editing rates below:
What Should I Expect?
I like to ensure my clients experience a streamlined process when they submit their documents to me. Below I have outlined the general order in which things are done, as well as my preferred methods of proofreading and copy editing.
*Submit an inquiry form here– This will give me an idea of the type of document you have, an estimate of how long the project will take, and allow me to give you a fixed price for my services.
*Sign the Terms of Service form– Once everything is set and we agree on a price, this form serves as a formal agreement to allow me to proofread or copy edit your work.
*Send me your work– Along with the signed Terms of Service form, you’ll send me your document. I normally correct documents via Google Docs, but we can discuss other options, if necessary. I generally follow The Chicago Manual of Style, but I will reference other style guides as requested (APA, MLA, AP, etc.).
*Your work is returned– After I proofread or copy edit your document, you will receive an invite to view your work with all the corrections I’ve made.
